Elisabetta Mina specializes in intellectual property rights and advertising law. She has extensive experience in judicial defense and extrajudicial assistance involving matters of copyright law and legal personality, with a specific focus in assisting clients in the fields of entertainment, publishing, fashion and communication.
She has assisted, at the national, European and international levels, production companies, publishers, advertising agencies, ISPs and content providers, authors and performers in the acquisition and protection of rights regarding content and production intended for film, television, and the web. She has also provided assistance in national and international operations of film financing and has participated in the acquisition of companies that own industrial property rights and copyright.
Prior to establishing Milalegal, Elisabetta Mina obtained an LLM in IP Law at the Kings College of London, where she also perfected her skills in both Italian and International Studies. She is the Vice-President of the IAP (Italian Self-Advertisement Body), a non-profit organization for the control and self-regulation of advertising and marketing. She has always pursued her academic interests, having delivered several lectures in conferences and seminars; for example, she holds lessons for the Master of Fashion MAFED program in Bocconi University. Furthermore, she has contributed to various magazines such as “Il Diritto Industriale” Ipsoa as well as having participated as an active member in several Italian and international associations such as ALAI, BLACA (British Literary and Artistic Copyright Association), IAEL (International Association of Entertainment Lawyers), AIPPI and INDICAM.
In 2015 and 2017 Elisabetta Mina was named "Lawyer of the Year - Copyright" at the IP & TMT Legal Community Awards organized by Legal Community.
