Giovanni Zilli specializes in the field of intellectual property, with a particular focus on the entertainment industry, as well as on the protection and transfer of IP-related content in the Information Technology environment.
He specializes in the areas of copyright, neighbouring rights and other legal matters applicable to the entertainment industry (publishing, music, film, television, radio television format, photography, visual arts, theater and advertising agencies).
He provides assistance to the prominent professionals in his field, both in litigation as well as in extrajudicial proceedings. He has also assisted clients in defining business strategies aimed at enhancing, supervising, managing and selling their rights. He has also advises clients in all the various negotiations in which these rights are involved.
He has been member of the New IMAIE Committee of Experts, as well as legal advisor with respect to national TV programmes.

Law degree with full honours at LUISS Guido Carli University of Rome with a final dissertation on industrial law.
He has given many lectures at Masters and advanced courses related to IP. He also authored several publications on copyright.
